Vintage French Brocante Style Upholstered Shabby Chic bedroom chair

  

Vintage French Brocante Style Upholstered Shabby Chic chair. This little vintage bedroom chair was given the Elsie-May magic touch.

It was then painted, aged and distressed in a French brocante Shabby Chic style and waxed with two colours of wax to add to the aged look. The seat was then completely rebuilt and brought up to fire safety standards with all layers fire retardant.

I finished it in an ice blue crushed velvet all hand pinned round with a complimentary pale blue trim also tacked, not glued, to finish. Would be ideal as a bedroom or hallway chair or an accent piece to any French inspired or romantic interior scheme.
