Pretty French Style Vintage Wardrobe. A very pretty Wardrobe, painted in the highly esteemed Farrow & Ball paint, we love the elegant colours and Eggshell finish, we have used'Great White', a bright, fresh White, with a warm aged tone, perfect for Vintage Bedroom furniture, we lightly distress the paintwork to highlight the lovely shape and detail, then wax with Liberon wax for protection. The Wardrobe has a beautiful arched top shape, rather French looking, with ornate applique details featuring Ribbons and Drops, the original handles are of little'dropper' style and there are working locks with a key. The central panel also has applique detail and all stands on adorable curvy little legs.

The interior has a handy shelf to one side with a hanging rail beneath, the other side has a rail at the very top to give full length hanging and allows a well ordered Wardrobe, the interior is fully painted inside with a smart Antique Grey and lined with a beautiful Laura Ashley paper called'Tuilleries' to add a little Vintage decadence! I like the interior to be just as lovely as the exterior, not dark and gloomy, but a delight every time you open it!

The Wardrobe will look adorable wherever you decide to use, in a Bedroom, Girls Bedroom, the Wardrobe has a surprising amount of hanging and storage space, it is a lovely deep Wardrobe so Clothes sits nicely inside. The Wardrobe does break down if stairs were a problem, but does take time and patience as there are several pieces, but all screws together. I have other Vintage painted pieces, I paint Bedroom pieces in the same shade'Great White' so that they could sit together as a Bedroom set.

I have the smaller'sister' Wardrobe to this one (pictured) and I a beautiful matching Dressing Table (pictured), I have a choice of very pretty'Tallboy' Cabinets too, that would sit alongside this Wardrobe nicely. Please see my Furniture past and present on Instagram, search pixie_doo.
